One-to-One Photography Tuition There comes a point in every photographer’s journey where something needs to change. You may be just starting out and want to understand your camera properly. You might already be taking competent photographs but feel something is missing. Or perhaps you’re an experienced amateur looking to refine your style, specialise, or even take the first steps towards working professionally. Wherever you are on that journey, one-to-one tuition is one of the most effective ways to move forward. Working together face-to-face allows me to focus entirely on you - your camera, your way of seeing, your strengths, and the areas that need attention. There’s no generic teaching, no being held back by others, and no pressure to keep up. Instead, everything is shaped around what you need, at a pace that suits you. For some, that may mean finally gaining control of the technical side... understanding exposure, focus, and light. For others, it’s about developing creativity, learning to see differently, and producing images with more impact and intention. And for those further along, it may be about direction, refining a style, building a body of work, or exploring how photography might become something more. Sessions are typically held at my home studio in Fleet, where we can work in a calm and focused environment. Where appropriate, we may also work on location or at your home or workplace, depending on what will best support your development. My role is simple: to help you make the changes that matter - clearly, efficiently, and with purpose.
