Photography workshops for all levels

"A range of photography workshops and courses to suit all levels; from beginner through to advanced"

Take Amazing Photos

A short course, run over four weeks, to help you take better photographs.

Designed for beginners or to those who have recently returned to photography after a gap and need a refresher.  It lays down solid photographic foundations and spends two weeks on photographing landscapes and portraits.  My longest running workshop.

Coming out of AUTO

A short workshop for anyone who wants to step out of the comfort zone of using AUTO.  Learn how to take control over your camera, increasing your creative opportunities.

Photographing Your Kids

This is a short daytime workshop (lasting just one and a half hours) aimed at mums who want some simple tips on how to take better photos of their children.

One Year foundation Class

A twelve month course in Photography.  Starting from the very foundations of understanding your camera and the essential principles of photography - to learning about capturing movement, people and landscapes.  The course also includes working with flash and post processing editing.  All students will have private access to Kevin Ahronson for One-on-One mentoring during the course.

Flash Photography

One of the most common complaints against flash is that it produces unflattering, nasty shadows and featureless faces... and yet so many photographers find the whole idea of working with flash a minefield; complicated and unrewarding.  This four week course will show you how to use your flash both on and off-camera, creatively and transform your photographs.

Wedding Photography

Kevin Ahronson has worked as a documentary wedding photographer for a number of years and in this one-day workshop he will let you into his world, reveal his secrets and what you'll need... to work in this competative but highly rewarding business.

Photoshop & Lightroom for Photographers

Being a photographer these days is more than just taking photos, you are are also required to manage and manipulate your images in post production, finishing them to a high standard.  This four week workshop introduces you to the tools and skills needed.

Photographing Landscapes

This four week workshop is designed to help you take great landscape photos.  Whether it's the countryside or the city, there are things you can do to improve your photography.  You'll learn about lenses, filters, the importance of light and what tricks to use in Lightroom to enhance your final image.
