Want to be Professional Photographer?

March 16, 2018

The latest course to be launched at the Hampshire School of Photography is for aspiring professionals.

I regularly get approached by amateur photographers and those working as semi-pros for lessons to help them become full-time professionals.

In response to the increasing demand, I am launching a one-year personal mentoring plan for anyone wishing to pursue a career in photography, specifically photographing people.

Why should you chose this particular course?

Unlike most college courses which tend to be rather esoteric and arty, this will be far more practical, designed for a photographer who wants to succeed in the real world.  I will pass on my years of knowledge to you, as we look at photographing people, both in a story-telling candid form and also in the more formal, posing environment.

At the end of the year, you'll know how to photograph people, individuals, groups of people, families, children and also how to work in the coroporate sector, working with businesses.

We'll dig deeply into how Lightroom and Photoshop can transform your images and we'll work with natural light as well as flash, including multiple flash, to give you the confidence to control the light in almost any situation.

We'll also take a look at self-promotion, websites, blogs, social-media and marketing and many of those administrative things that you have to do when you're running your own business.
