Discover the secrets of editing in Adobe Lightroom from professional photographer and
founder of Hampshire School of Photography, Kevin Ahronson
Because the group is limited to
just 6 people, you will be able to
ask questions of Kevin
throughout the workshop and
get immediate feedback
Learn about importing, exporting and how to find your images using Lightroom’s powerful search facility.
Learn how to synchronise your settings across images and how to work with presets, then
discover how to get the best out of Lightroom’s editing tools
Kevin with show you how to creatively use the Graduated Filter, Radial Filter & the Adjustment Brush to transform your images and bring out detail you didn’t know you had.
Sharpen like a pro. Most people know how to sharpen their photos, but Kevin will show how to sharpen only the bits you want, just like a professional.
Participants will download Kevin’s original RAW files (to work on in real time) during the workshops.
Everyone taking part will be invited into our Facebook group, the Hampshire Photography Network, where you can meet other photographers, post your photos, take part in assignments, sell your gear, ask advice and meet up for trips.
All participants, as a special bonus will each be able to have a private Zoom consultation with Kevin following on from the course.
In the days that follow you may want to pick Kevin’s brain about your own editing issues. So, within a month from the date of the workshop you can book a private consultation to help you take your editing further.
In addition to the Academy membership, you will also have 6 months access to the HSP studio at full-time student rates, saving 66% off normal hire fees.
This will enable you to book 3 hours of studio time for just £50
(non-student rates would be £150)
Kevin has been using Lightroom since 2008 and reckons to have amassed over 12,000 hours of Lightroom over that time. Your will be learning from someone who really knows how to get the best out of the software, developing tricks and shortcuts to help you speed up your editing.
This is a full-day workshop running from 9:30 in the morning, through to 4:30 in the afternoon (with a 30min break for lunch).
Lunch: Students are advised to bring a packed lunch with them.
We provide teas & coffees.
Dates available in 2023:
- April 8 (Saturday)
- Sept 16 (Saturday)
All students must have Adobe Lightroom Classic already installed and functioning on their computer for the workshops. You must also ensure that your computer is powerful enough to run Lightroom effectively.
Read Adobe’s minimum requirements here
If your system is not working properly or the installation is incomplete, we won’t be able to assist you on the day.
There is a busy schedule which cannot be delayed to help you out should you have arrived to take part unprepared (it wouldn’t be fair on everyone else on the course).
