Supporting local charities

Since moving to Fleet in 2015, we have tried to involve ourselves in the local community as much as possible.

A number of charities in the area have been supported with Kevin giving his time free or providing them prizes for various fund-raising events.  Typically, free photography lessons or photo-shoots.

Currently, Kevin acts as official photographer for Stepping Stones DS, the local Downs Syndrome charity.

In addition, he recently took on the role as Head of Communications (on a voluntary basis) at  Jills Fundraising Journey (JFJ), a wonderful new charity which is raising funds to purchase holiday homes for families suffering with cancer.

He originally discovered them during 2016, when he was asked to photograph a gala fundraising ball for them.  This year, while photographing the interior of a potential holiday home, he was moved by the conversations he had with JFJ's chair, Lyndsey Todd. He knew he had to get involved.

So in this position he will use his social media experience as well as his photographic and video production skills to help raise the next £30,000 needed to buy a specially equipped mobile home where families can spend time together as they cope with the difficulties of child or adult suffering from cancer.
